Facebook users around the world reported issues logging into and posting on the site as well as on Instagram and WhatsApp thoughout the day on Wednesday. Facebook did not give a reason for the outage, and provided minimal information other than acknowledging it is aware services are down in some areas.

Early Thursday morning, Instagram tweeted its service was back, while Facebook had not provided an update.Facebook acknowledged the outage in a tweet Wednesday, saying, "We're aware that some people are currently having trouble accessing the Facebook family of apps. We're working to resolve the issue as soon as possible."

It later confirmed the problem was not the result of a DDoS attack, which refers to a Distributed Denial-of-Service attack in which a hacker overwhelms a site by flooding it with fake traffic.

SAN FRANCISCO — What would happen if Facebook and some of its apps — such as Instagram and WhatsApp — were to all go down at about the same time? And then stay intermittently out for hours?

On Wednesday, people around the world found out when all three services experienced interruptions throughout the day.

The problems began around 11 a.m. Eastern Time and affected users in countries including the United States, Japan, Australia and Mexico, according to DownDetector, an analytics service that calls itself a weather report for the internet.On Instagram, profiles refused to load. Some Facebook users logged on to empty news feeds, while others could see their friends’ updates but couldn’t like them. And WhatsApp users had trouble sending and receiving messages.

Central Board of Secondary Education, CBBSE conducted the Class 10t Science Board Exam 2019 today. The examination concluded at 1:30 pm for regular candidates. Students enrolled under PWD category would get another hour and allowed to write the examination till 2:30 pm. As the students walk out of their respective examination centres, here are the first reactions and reviews. Teachers also share exam analysis – call the paper moderate but tricky.

Starting with first reactions of the students, most of the students appeared happy with the question paper. The three mark questions in the papers were said to be easy. There were a few questions in the Section E which were tricky as they called on the conceptual understanding of the students. Physics questions were mostly okay. Some students pointed out a 5 mark question in Biology while some were unhappy with a few questions from chemistry chapters

PUBG, also known as PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, is a battle royale game where players have to survive till the clock runs out. The game has been in the negative for some time now. There have been a number of incidents in which state governments have taken steps and agree that the game is addictive and is responsible for inciting violence and that the game should be banned. There have also been separate incidents which have led to the administrations behaving that way. In Jammu, a fitness trainer injured himself because he lost a game in PUBG. In another chilling incident, a boy hanged himself after his parents refused to buy him a phone for playing PUBG. Now, the Rajkot district administration in Gujarat on Thursday is contemplating about putting a ban on PUBG. The major reason for implementing the ban is because there has been an increase in violent behaviour among the children and the youth and that they were showing signs of addiction to the battle royale game.
